Our client’s competitors were large-scale, established and trusted brands within Australia – the likes of Commonwealth Bank, Travelex and Australia Post. As a relatively new brand, our client wanted to gain market share.

THE GOALS

Our client wanted to explore ways to gain visibility and outperform their competitors, without utilising highly competitive terminology. In addition, they expected a positive return on investment (ROI) and an increase in organic search traffic.

OUR SOLUTION

We took a wholly collaborative approach for this project. A thorough internal investigation by the client, and industry data analysis using our Engage Analytics tool helped us to discover the most highly sought-after products in the industry. We targeted these products in our campaign so we could make gains in several areas.

THE RESULTS

Instead of taking the industry giants head-on, we found the channels where we could win multiple, small strategic battles. Our client is now ranking above the competition in a highly competitive industry. And, as a result, there has been a steady increase in organic search traffic
